Any way to get refunded from store that no longer exists?

I bought a few items from a website called Nerd Squad in August and I never received tracking information. Went to the website and it is not up anymore any way I can get something like that properly reported for Shopify to check out for me?? I'll attach a few screenshots as well.

Hi, @Vultur3Kulture. I definitely understand what it's like to have issues with an online order. I'm happy to share some advice to help with this situation.

For context, Shopify provides the software for businesses to create and run their own online stores. We don't manage the businesses associated with us or have a hand in their orders so we won't have more information on your specific order. The best way to get help with an order is to speak directly to the store you purchased from. They will have the most information on their store and their products to continue helping you. I see that they've listed an email address in one of the screenshots you shared. I recommend trying to email them there first. If you can't contact them there, this page lists some other ways to contact a store about an order.

Since it's been more than four weeks since you placed your order, if you're unable to get a hold of them I'd also recommend you take the following steps:

  • Report the issue to the store by completing this form.
  • Report the issue to our support team here with the information listed below. We would not be able to share the outcome of any investigation, but the information can help us look into it internally.
    • The date you placed your order
    • The name and URL of the store you ordered from
    • Whether you received an order confirmation email after placing your order
  • Contact the bank or credit card company you used for your purchase. They often have processes in place to assist customers experiencing issues with online orders.

Hi Erin, I’m afraid I’m in the same position as Vultur3Kulture . I ordered 2 hoodies a little over a week ago from Rivera Clothing, i got a confirmation mail however, i never got an update. I decided to send a mail attached made for question about the brand but it’s out of service, just like their website. I left quite a sum of money on them and i’d like to know if there anyway I can get my money back. I therefore have no way of contacting them and it truly infuriates me. Please let me know if there’s anything i can possibly do.
