Hello Shopify Community,

I'm reaching out for help with a critical issue affecting my store and customers in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Issue Overview:

• Invalid Address Errors: Customers attempting to use Apple Pay at checkout are encountering "invalid address" errors.
• Incorrect Address Mapping: In the UAE, the seven emirates are considered cities, and within them are various areas or districts. It appears that the "Area" field in Apple Pay is incorrectly mapped to the "City" field in Shopify's checkout process. This misalignment is causing validation issues.

Impact on My Business:

• Failed Transactions: Customers are unable to complete purchases using Apple Pay.
• Lost Sales: This issue is leading to abandoned carts and significant revenue loss.
• Customer Frustration: It undermines the convenience and efficiency that Apple Pay is supposed to offer.

What I've Tried So Far:

• Contacted Shopify Support: They informed me that adjusting or editing the checkout is not possible due to security and PCI compliance. Customizing the checkout's address fields is beyond the capabilities of the Theme Editor or Shopify Experts.
• Understanding Limitations: I appreciate the importance of maintaining a secure checkout environment, but this issue is severely impacting the user experience.

Seeking Solutions:

I'm hoping someone in the community has faced a similar issue and can offer advice or workarounds. Specifically:

• Adjusting Address Validation Settings: Is there a way to modify the address validation rules for the UAE without compromising security?
• Field Mapping Adjustments: Can the mapping between Apple Pay's address fields and Shopify's checkout fields be altered to match the UAE's address format?
• Third-Party Apps or Integrations: Are there any apps or plugins that can help resolve this address mapping issue?

Wider Impact: This problem seems to affect many businesses in the UAE and GCC region, not just my store.
