Archived products in General Shipping profile

Products that I've archived are still showing up in the General Shipping profile. Why do they appear in any shipping profile if they're archived?

Thanks for posting!

As you aren't deleting the product, you are archiving it, all associated information remains in the case you want to un-archive it.

I hope that makes sense!
