Authorization Key question.

Hello,

Was wondering what the Authorization Key is for? Is this basically the same thing as a transaction ID that's the main identifer of the transaction? I'm looking through the Shopify Transaction Properties and nowhere does it say anything about an Authorization Key, it only lists Authorization code. 

So is the authorization key the same as the authorization code in the transaction details?
