I'm trying to do an automatic buy three and get 10% off discount.
(excludes gift cards)
It works well at checkout but shopping cart view seems very confusing.

Thank you for reaching out to the Community! I can certainly provide some guidance with the automatic discount populating for customers on the cart page. To ensure I'm fully understanding, it is the discount price that's not populating as expected correct?
If so, there are some troubleshooting steps you can attempt to get this corrected. These include:
If after giving all these a try you're still seeing the cart page populate incorrectly, I would recommend reaching out to our Shopify Support to have them investigate further.
