Barcode Generator Printer and Scanner To Manage Products

In the store there will be lots of products added on a weekly basis because they are second-hand clothing and items.

The product would be photographed and added to the store. 

Upon adding the code needs to be generated and printed to be attached to the product.

When the product is bought, it would be scanned to make sure that's the right product and prepare to send. 

Does anyone has any insights on the hardware and software part of this process?
