Accepting credit cards, warehouses, and shipping and fulfilling orders
So I'm trying to set up a store to replace our current method of doing local deliveries. But I've hit a few snags along the way.
Currently we have customers go to a google sign up sheet and fill out things such as, Name, Address, what they're ordering, and how frequently they'd like to have our product delivered.
We're still small and only have one delivery driver, so different areas have specific delivery days. For instance, area 1 is delivered on Tuesday. Area 2 is on Wednesday, and area 3 is on Thursday. The customer selects what area they're in and their info gets added to that specific google sheet.
Then on those delivery days we go through, see who's scheduled for delivery, and manually put in their addresses into google maps. It's by no means an efficient way of doing things.
So I'd like to replace the google sign up sheet with a Shopify store where customers can view our products, select what they want and create a subscription for that order. So far I've hit nothing but roadblocks trying to set this up. At first I tried using shopify's local delivery app in combination with a subscription app, but local delivery doesn't work with subscription apps, and from what i can find, there aren't any subscription apps that let you create a subscription to use COD (Cash on delivery)
So now im thinking maybe it would be best to use some sort of order form app? But I still cant find a way to let customers create a subscription off of that. If anyone has found some way of doing this please let me know, I cant be the only one who has this type of delivery system.
