Hi I am trying to find how I can select items which cannot be shipped due to being frozen but still available for local delivery? 70% of my products are frozen and can only be delivered local but my other items can be sent via courier. How do I do this? Thanks.

That's a great question, thanks for posting!
First, you will of course need to set up local delivery. Keep in mind if you are using any third party shipping apps you should confirm with the apps developer if the app will conflict with these options.
Once local delivery is enabled, to remove any potential shipping rates from your products, you will need to create a new shipping profile dedicated to your frozen products. Once you create this profile, do not add any rates. This will allow only the local delivery options to populate at checkout.
With that being said, we recommend making it clear to customers viewing the frozen products that these products are only available for local delivery, and if added to the cart for addresses outside of the delivery zone it will cause checkout issues. This is of course due to not having any shipping rates available for said products.

Hi Skye thanks for your reply. I have another small problem which my local delivery is charged at £3.00 and shipping at £3.50. Would using your method work for the fix you have suggested? Thanks.

Yes, you can block products from being shipped while still making them available for local delivery using the ShipRight app. Follow these steps to get it done:

You can restrict the shipping option for your frozen items using the Cart Lock https://apps.shopify.com/cart-lock app. For this you have to do this:
