Can I cancel my unused domain subscription?

I bought a domain which I will not use anymore. The subscribtion says I have to pay for it for the whole year by monthy payments. Is there a way I can cancel this subscribtion since I wont be using the domain?

I understand that you purchased a domain, and are no longer looking to use it anymore. To better assist you, could you please provide more information? For instance, are you looking to rebrand your shop and have no use for the domain anymore? Did you purchase the domain directly from Shopify or from a third-party provider? Typically, domain subscriptions are paid for the whole year in one sum and you would want to follow these steps to remove them from your store.
