Hi, I would like to know if I can get a refund on my last billing ? I didn’t know my subscription was still running , I have not been using Shopify for months due to low inventory in my Llc. I would like my 79$ back

Thanks for reaching out! The account would need to be deactivated completely in order for the billing to cease entirely, while you may not be using the store while the subscription is active you will still be liable to pay for the subscription.

 

As our terms of service mentions here (section 5, point 10), Shopify does not provide refunds, however in some cases we may be flexible dependent on the circumstances. In this case, the best course of action would be to deactivate your store, so you are no longer billed going forward. You can learn how to close your store at this link.  In order to discuss possible refund options, please reach out to our live support team here so that they can take a look at your account for you. We would not be able to look into account specifics from the community here ourselves.


In any case, you had mentioned that you could no longer continue on with your store due to low inventory, would our pause and build plan work better for you? With this plan, you can continue to work on your store at a reduced cost of  $9 USD per month. You can access your Shopify admin and edit your products when you need to, but your checkout is disabled. Learn more about this plan here.
