Can I get a refund for an unused trial subscription?

Hi –


I trialled Shopify for an online store with the intro fee.  I did not “launch” the store, nor make any sales.  I intended to cancel the trial subscription but could not due to travels.  I have been charged the £25.00 fee.


Can I kindly request a refund of the fee in this instance?

I understand you're requesting a refund for your subscription. We don't provide refunds as per Section 5.10 of our Terms of Service, however, our support team can look into the possibility of making an exemption for you. I suggest creating a support ticket from here, but before you do, please ensure your subscription is cancelled and your store is deactivated by following the steps on this page. Once you've done that, you can head over to our support page to get in touch with our support team and request a refund.
