Can I have 1 active and 1 inactive store without paying extra?

Hi,

I have 1 active store on a basic plan, but I am wanting to inactivate that and open a second, unrelated store.

Is it possible to do this without paying extra or upgrading my plan? Please note that I put a lot of work into the first store and don't really want to lose all my progress.

Any help would be fantastic, thank you!
