I wanted to know if it was possible to do Shopify payments in India without a registered business? If so, will I eed a current account for that?

Shopify Payments is currently unavailable for merchants in India, so you'll need to find an alternative payment gateway to use. You can find a list of accepted payment gateways in India by visiting our website here.

When looking for a payment gateway for your store, it's a good idea to research them in more detail to ensure that your business meets their requirements. Different payment gateways and processors will have different criteria and requirements, and because these are all developed and run by third-party entities outside of Shopify, you'll need to get in touch with the respective payment gateway or processor directly if you have any questions.
