Accepting credit cards, warehouses, and shipping and fulfilling orders
A customer has paid for shipping. What if I choose to deliver? Are the shipping charges only applied to the transaction if I print the label? Can I keep the shipping charges to cover the delivery?
Generally, the shipping charges are applied to your total order balance. If you can find an affordable way to deliver the package, I don't see how it could be an issue.
Hi there, @O_L_C_Kitchen!
Great question. When your customer pays for their order, including shipping, you're given all of the money from that sale (excluding any applicable fees). You can then use that payout for whatever you need to (buying the product, paying for delivery, etc). You don't have to use the shipping cost to pay for a shipping label, as all the money is deposited into your account together.
If you plan to only offer delivery in the future, or want to adjust what you charge for shipping, you can follow the instructions in this help document.
I hope this helps — please let me know if you have any other questions!
