Can I sell wine on Shopify while also selling other items?

We are getting ready to launch Shopify (Seattle, WA, USA) and I would like to know if we can also sell wine (understanding we would need to verify age and collect signature).  There is some confusion in discussion forums whether Shopify payment could be used or not.  I am also selling apparel, beauty and gift items.  Thank you!
