Can I use a US SSN for Shopify payment from abroad?

Hello Dears, 

I have a question regarding using shopify payment method on my store. I obtained SSN during my stay as international student in US for 5 years.

Can I use my US SSN to activate the shopify payment while I'm living currently out of USA as solo entrepreneur without having LLC.

To confirm I'm fully understanding, do you currently have physical operations (i.e an office) in the United States?
