Can i use my itin for setting up payments with shopify

Hi, i want to know if i can use my itin for shopify payments. I’ve been living in the USA for 15 years, i dont have an llc or ein for my retail online store. I want to know if I’m still able to do this process to shopify payments.

Welcome to the Shopify Community and I appreciate you sharing your question here.

I understand that you have an Individual Taxpayer Identification Number and inquiring whether you can use this for Shopify Payments. 

In regards to using an ITIN number, you'll need to communicate with our internal team so they can outline exactly which documents will be required in this situation. You can create a support request directly in the Shopify Help Center, log in to your store, follow the prompts and view our available support contact options. 

However, since you are based in the United States, I'd like to share the general requirements /documents that can be submitted during the Shopify Payments onboarding process.

General Requirements for Shopify Payments - United States:

• Government-issued photo I.D: Passport, driver's license, birth certificate, U.S. visa card)
  
• Proof of address: Bank statement, dated within the last 6 months, utility bill, Government issued letter)

I'm trying to update my account with the docs that you said and my store still not working.

I already did some salles and i can't cashout it.

I do the same situation of this post. No LLC/CORP/SSN, only ITIN number and all comproves to who i live at USA.
