Can I use Shopify Payment for my hobby website as a private individual?

Hello,

As a Swedish private individual, I intend to establish a hobby website aimed at supporting Japanese students interested in studying in Sweden. From time to time, I may need to offer customized services for which I would charge my website visitors.

Will I need to own a company to use Shopify's payment service, or can I use the Shopify Payment on my website as a private individual as well?

Shopify Payments can of course be used on private individual operated businesses. 

Just in case, I want to share the list with all of the eligibility requirements for using Shopify Payments here to make sure that you meet the points there. 

I would love to hear a little bit more about your business, what kind of services are you hoping to offer the students there?

Since you mentioned that you're offering this support to Japanese students studying in Sweden, I imagine you may need more than one language to be available on your store? If so, I have a complete guide from our help centre here on how to add and manage other languages on your store.
