Can I use the same bank account for the payment information that I'm using for another site

I couldn't find an answer on Google.

So I have my LLC, and I have a store for that one. Now I'm building a second Shopify store, using a DBA/different tradename that I set up for my LLC. My first store is still live. I was planning on using the same bank information from my main store since this new one is just a DBA of that LLC. Can I do that? I plan on launching this new store in the next week, I don't want to use the same bank info as my main one IF I end up getting locked out of my account.

You can absolutely use the same banking information for both stores as it does not affect anything on our end. Do you mean getting locked out of your bank account or Shopify account?

Hi Emily,

I'm kinda in the same situation though this is regarding my EIN. I have an existing/active store under my LLC. I am now wanting to open another store under that LLC, but it is a DBA. I have not been able to get passed completing the tax information in setting up my store. I tried using my current EIN for the DBA and it doesn't recognize it. Is there something else that I'm supposed to do?
