Accepting credit cards, warehouses, and shipping and fulfilling orders
Hello! It seems Shopify has updated something with the customs form section when buying shipping labels within Shopify.
When clicking "edit customs information", I can no longer remove items from the customs form. This is an essential step when purchasing a small packet envelope from Canada, which can't have more than 8 customs lines. When this happens, I simply edit the customs form, remove some items, and combine them with others. For example, if a customer orders 9 stickers, I'll remove one of the stickers and add the value/weight to one of the other 8 stickers. This option is now completely gone, and I'm not sure why they would get rid of this feature.
Also, when an item was free (like a bogo sale,) shopify now puts the value at $0 instead of the original price, so all sale items have to be manually entered when purchasing shipping labels.
Any help appreciated. Thanks!
Same issue here! Literally keeping us from sending international orders on multiple items.
Mine works now! is yours fixed?
Yes finally!
I was having to split fulfillments to get around it!
all good here now.
We have escalated this issue with Shopify support also and would advise everyone to do the same so they know that by removing this button/feature it is impacting many businesses and needs to be rectified.
It seems to be fixed for me! I can now remove items.
If the customer got one free why would you need to change the price? Just curious.
It's because I can't actually purchase the label until the $0 field is filled in. Shopify thinks it's now "empty". It just adds a tedious step on each order.
