Can Shopify Basic Plan Calculate Shipping Rates Based on Weight?

We sell honey and other products with diffrent weight like 1kg jar or 40kg container or 290kg barrel. We send it trough diffrent slovak postal services wich arent carriers. Is it possible to calculate shipping rate accordingly to weight if we have fixed shipping price per kilogram. ANd is it possible with shopify basic plan? thanks

You can set up custom rates with the option to set weight conditions in your admin shipping tab. You will need to enter the correct weight of each of your items so that the shipping is calculated correctly at the checkout.

It is possible by using shipping APP, you can create shipping rate by every X kg. 

Ex: $10 for every 1kg 

Or You can setup by product base or product tag base.

Before you go further, this kind of app required CCS on the store.

Problem is 1. I dont have the advanced plan 2. and slovak postal office dont support ccs

1) You don't required advanced plan.

It works if you have Shopify plan annually billing cycle. 

2) It doesn't matter with post office connection CCS. 
CCS is just required by Shopify to setup shipping rates from any APP. 

It means whatever shipping rates setup on the app(Ex: $10 for every 1kg) can only display at checkout, if store has enabled CCS. (it is not any real time carrier service rate)
