Accepting credit cards, warehouses, and shipping and fulfilling orders
I'm considering switching over to Shopify Shipping.
Currently I use explicit financial accounts for all shipping charges and I would like to continue keeping that separate for our accounting practices.
It appears that Shopify Shipping will always bill on the same invoice as my Shopify plan and App charges? Is it possible to split these up?

I just wanted to share some info with you here on how Shopify Shipping works when it comes to billing and invoices.
As per our guide to Shopify Shipping billing, labels purchased in this way are billed under threshold billing, unless this threshold is not met in which case they are part of your monthly Shopify invoice.
Should you meet this threshold during your billing period you would be invoiced and charged for these shipping labels immediately.
Otherwise, these charges would be included in your regularly-issued invoice.

Could you tell me a bit more about what you're selling and what types or sizes of orders you usually ship; domestically, internationally, or both?

What I want is:
For my Shopify subscription & Apps: Charge Credit Card #1
For Shipping Labels: Charge Credit Card #2
Is this possible?

Thanks for getting back to me here and for clarifying your request!
At this time it is not possible to split Shopify invoices to be paid on separate billing methods, as it would be one billing method per store.
What I can do for you from here is to file a request for this functionality with our developer team internally.
We rely on requests like these to let our developer teams know what our merchants are looking to see added to the platform in the future.
While we can't guarantee a timeline for the introduction of a given feature, I would recommend our Changelog page if you want to stay updated!

I would love this feature too. This is one reason why I use Goshippo and not Shopify to ship packages.
Hi Don. Have they given you an update. I would like yo start paying before it reaches the threshold if possible. The option to pay should be more flexible. Like even paying down the bill once it's billed. It doesn't make sense.
