Can't buy shipping label for envelope from Canada Post

Hey all,

I'm trying to ship smaller items with a bubble mailer, but I can't seem to buy a shipping label through Shopify for an envelope.  

Is it possible to put the dimensions of the envelope, but list it as a package?  Will there be a difference in price?

Thanks for posting to the forums. I hope you're well!

Currently, envelope packages are not supported for Canada Post with Shopify Shipping, only Box and Soft Package. However, as you're using a bubble mailer, you should be able to purchase a label as long as the size of the mailer is at least 10 x 7 x 0.1 cm for a domestic shipment, and 14 x 9 x 0.1 cm for international shipments.

Additionally, you aren't already, and plan to expand internationally; Shopify has a new feature called Shopify Markets. This feature allows you to utilize multiple domains, currency, and language automation for regional visitors all from a single Shopify store!

Do you know when Shopify will support shipping label for bubble mailer or do you have a alternative for us ? Because I'm a TCG cards shop and i cant really use the rate for cheap card because of that.

At this time we don't have timeline for when or if Shopify will have options for envelope or small bubble mailers included with Shopify Shipping rates. 

There are third party apps that also provide discounted shipping rates that may be available for your store. I can't speak to what shipping rates they offer or what packages they support, but definitely worth checking out. It looks like EasyShip may support Canada Post: Easyship ‑ All in One Shipping.
