Accepting credit cards, warehouses, and shipping and fulfilling orders
Return management just got easier! We’ve launched Customer Self-Serve Returns to all Shopify merchants. Click here to learn more!
Sometimes we have customers that request a refund, but the card used to make the purchase is no longer valid. Since Shopify won't let us refund them to a new card, what is the best thing to do? We can issue refunds to their personal PayPal account or we can mail a physical check to them. I don't like the physical check option because I have to create a new Payee in our bank account and it's just a hassle. Does anyone have suggestions? I can do store credit as well, but I'm referring to customers that do not want that. I've considered maybe using Venmo as a refund option, but I'm not sure if that is the best option. Any help would be much appreciated!
