Can we offer Free Shipping on Only Specific Collections

I would like to offer free shipping for only specific collections...is that possible without giving the rest of the site free shipping as well.

Thank you for this but this option means i will have to add 100's of products from a specific collection to a shipping profile. This is very clumsy and time consuming. Is there not a work around under a 'collection' to add 'free shipping' for that collection and not another ? Thsi inly needs to be a check box... can this be done or is there another solution than spending hours on end to add these items from the same collection to a shipping profile ? Furthermore can I just give a free shipping discount code to a particular collection ? Thanks heaps team i really hope we can solve this 🙂

Our lovely partner, @Anindita beat me to it but she is definitely right. Creating shipping profiles for this group of products that you want will allow for you to separate them and create free shipping rates just for them.

actually we tried creating custom shipping profile, but its combining with other discount coupon for the store...

but we don't want that, let me know what could be the solution.

You can definitely try to utilize the app for such discount codes. I have found a couple that is worth looking at. Please check these out and if they do not work, our app store has more options for you as well:

This may not be exactly what you're looking for (feel free to disregard!) but you can accomplish this in Starshipit using rules. For example, create a rule where based on SKU > Apply free shipping. Again, I know it's not a native solution, but just leaving here for others to reference. Good luck!
