Can you checkout to a partner site for digital product variants?

Hi we want to sell digital versions of our magazines.

We have 2 variants one print and one digital.

If the user selects print we want them to checkout via shopify, if they select the digital option we want the checkout button to go to our partner site for fullfilment.

Is this possible?
