Hello,

We currently operate a Shopify store in Sweden, and our primary payment method is Shopify Payments. We've been exploring options to integrate Swish into our website, but unfortunately, Shopify Payments does not support Swish.

We've noticed that alternative payment methods like "Billwerk + Payments," "Svea Checkout," or "Walee Payments" offer Swish integration. However, these options come with higher costs, and we're seeking a more cost-effective solution.

Our specific question is whether it's possible to have two different payment methods on Shopify—Shopify Payments for all transactions except Swish, which would be directed through a more affordable option like Billwerk. This approach would allow us to meet our customers' Swish demands without significantly increasing overall payment processing expenses.

We are eager to implement Swish as soon as possible to better serve our customers, and any insights or any solutions you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your assistance.

Best regards,
Victor at FoFill

Hi Victor

As far as I know, Shopify have stopped allowing third-party payment applications for the time being.  Not sure when they will accept new applications again.

We use Payment Gateway Integration Service for Shopify | CartDNA.Com.

You just go to payments and search for swish. There you will find Swish payment gateway. This will cost you your bank swish cost / transaction and it will cost ju 0.66% of each transaction to the gateway and shopify (they share that cost in some way). It where very unstable but now it can handle many transaction at the same time.

I have done extensive research in this area, the only way right now to get a truly good solution (since shopify just ignores this issue) for all Swedish shops is to change to Quickbutik. In quickbutik you can get a real connection to your bank. And to further lower you swish cost if you have high volume swish is to change to SEB and till them that you know that they can offer as low as 2 Swedish kornor / transaction.
