Thanks for sharing those screenshots. They're really helpful! I was looking at them and I noticed something that could be the reason behind the issue you're encountering. As I've highlighted below, you seem to be viewing two different theme files:
In the first screenshot, we can see that you're viewing a Dawn theme file that is live or published in your store. While on the other hand, in the second screenshot, we can see that you're viewing a Dawn theme file that is in draft. Checkout customizations are theme-specific so they will only show in the theme where you made the changes.
I suggest viewing the published Dawn theme to check if the changes you made reflect there. Make sure you're clickingCustomizebeside the published or live theme. You can find it in this area on theOnline Store > Domainspage:
Alternatively, you can simply type your domain on a browser and access your checkout there. If you made the changes to the live theme, they will appear on your storefront.
