Accepting credit cards, warehouses, and shipping and fulfilling orders
Since PayPal is quite a bit more expensive that our chosen credit card provide, eft or Twint (Switzerland), kindly advice how I can change the prominent position of PayPal as payment option?
When clicking of Check-out, PayPal appears again right on top as 'Express Checkout' option.
Only further down one can choose other payment options, (which we prefer as these are less expensive for us shop owners)
Thank you and looking forward to some great answers.

To adjust the position of PayPal in your checkout, you'll need to customize your Shopify store's checkout layout. However, Shopify restricts direct customization of the checkout for non-Shopify Plus users.
For non-Shopify Plus users, you may need to consider using Shopify Payments with your chosen credit card provider, or use apps like Stripe or Payment Button to integrate alternative payment methods. You can hide the PayPal button via the Settings > Payments section by disabling PayPal as the default option.
This won't entirely remove PayPal but will make other options more prominent in the checkout flow.
If you're on Shopify Plus, you can modify the checkout.liquid file to rearrange payment options.
