charging credit cards up to 30 days after initial order

Since we're on Plus we have ability to charge Visa/MC up to 30 days from initial purchase (below) .  Anyone have experience doing so for customers that don't return trial products within a specified time frame ?  Are 3rd party apps needed to make this extended charge ?
