[Checkout Page] - How to deactivate UPS Ground option at Shipping Methods

Hi Dear Shopify,

May I know if there is a way to deactivate the UPS Ground option from shipping methods?
I will like to show only "Free Ground Shipping $20 option and UP" when the total bill is more than 19.95USD $

Hi @Jen2021_SS,

To disable or remove shipping services you have to navigate through these steps, Setting> Shipping & Delivery> Manage Rates. Under zones, you can edit rates and add or remove shipping methods. The below image will give a clear picture.

@Jen2021_SS, Within Shopify you can only set conditions based on the weight and price of the products.

Yes, you can deactivate the UPS Ground option and show only "Free Ground Shipping $20 option and UP" when the total bill is more than $19.95 using the ShipRight app. Here’s how to do it:

1. Add UPS Ground in the Additional shipping methods field.
2. In the Cart total Max (maximum) field, set the value to 19.95 like the below screenshot.

Now the "UPS Ground" option will be deactivated and only "Free Ground Shipping $20 option and UP" will be shown when the total bill is more than $19.95. Hope you find it useful.

This is actually achievable without the need for an app!

Instead of using the UPS calculated rates directly, you can create a price based flat rate and titled it "Free UPS Ground Shipping" and set the price minimum as $20. 

Using a flat rates doesn't prevent you from purchasing the labels of your choice once an order comes through! When you receive an order with this shipping option selected you can still purchase the UPS label of your choice.
