Choosing a payment provider: Is it necessary for online transactions?

quick question.

I'm currently  using PayPal as way of payment , my question is that do i have to choose a payment provider and if no, if someone paid with there card where does the money go.

If you would like to offer debit and credit as a way of payment on your store, you will need to add another gateway other than PayPal. Depending on where you are located, Shopify Payments will allow you to do so. With Shopify Payments, you're automatically set up to accept all major payment methods once activated. Your payouts will go directly to your chosen bank account, and you can manage it all within your Shopify admin.
