Accepting credit cards, warehouses, and shipping and fulfilling orders
Recently Shopify launched "committed" inventory. But I'm unsure what the actual logic behind the inventory is right now.
In the past, this "committed" inventory was not being shown. So in this scenario:
Inventory in warehouse: 676
Committed in Shopify: 29
Shopify would show 676 in "available" inventory for this product. (I think.)
But what is the behavior right now? In the same scenario:
Inventory in warehouse: 676
Committed in Shopify: 29
Does Shopify still show "676" in available inventory? Or does it show "647" in available. And you're supposed to do the mental math to know its "676" in your warehouse?
