COSTS and payments

How long is the free subscription and how much do you have to pay after the free trial period? Once I start paying for the paid version, can I stop paying and close the store? Can I use all the apps in the trial version, even the paid ones for free, and automation apps like DSers, and start paying for them when the paid period starts??

Hi @JanuszOlewicz

Great questions! I would be happy to help you with this.

How long is the free subscription and how much do you have to pay after the free trial period?

  • Shopify provides a free trial for 3 days and we have a promotion where your first month on the platform is $1 USD. The second month onwards you will pay based on the plan you have chosen. Depending on where you are located, the pricing can change. You can check out the available plans in your local currency using this link: Shopify Pricing and Plans.

Once I start paying for the paid version, can I stop paying and close the store?

  • Yes, you can deactivate your store at any time. If you have a pending bill on the account the bill will need to be paid before the store can be closed. If a bill is left in a pending state for 30 days without payment, the store will be closed automatically by the system and no further billing attempts will be made.

Can I use all the apps in the trial version, even the paid ones for free, and automation apps like DSers, and start paying for them when the paid period starts?

  • Each app's availability, trial time and billing cycle will be individual. The app developers will set their own rules depending on the app. Not all apps will have a free trial, and some will start billing right away. You will need to check the app listing and connect with the app developers to learn more.
