Accepting credit cards, warehouses, and shipping and fulfilling orders
Hi
I'm using Dawn Theme v15
Is anyone shipping directly from a China Factory and sending orders directly to the US customer?
I'm wondering if you have any recommendations on
1. Reliable Chinese Shipper
2. The same Chinese Shipper has solid Shopify APP courier integration for order tracking - ie sending confirmation emails on when the shipment was packed, when it left the courier and route tracking the customer can see on the Shops SHOPIFY storefront order tracking page. this would include email notification.
Thanks in advance!

For reliable transportation from mainland China to Hong Kong, you can consider YunExpress, 4PX or SF Express.
Once your packages arrive in Hong Kong, the handling process depends on your chosen service. Logistics companies like YunExpress and 4PX offer end-to-end solutions that include relabeling. They handle the entire process, ensuring your packages are ready for international shipping upon arrival in Hong Kong.
If you choose a service like SF Express, they often coordinate directly with carriers like Hong Kong Post, FedEx, or DHL. These carriers can pick up the packages directly from the logistics company’s facility in Hong Kong and handle the international shipping, including relabeling.
c. Currently, the app supports carriers like HKPost, FedEx (with discounts), and DHL. You can find more details on the app page.
Hey JR70, I believe you can just use FedEx, DHL, TNT etc to manage shipping. Or, you can also a freight forwarder if that's easier.
Hi DavidNZSSI,
Thanks for the response! FedEx, DHL and the other US couriers are expensive (for a startup shop not yet launched) shipping small packages being directly from China. I'm not familiar with TNT but will look into it.
As far as forwarders, do you have a top 3 list you've had experience with? Thanks again for the help!
I don't have a top 3 list, but have good things about NextSmartShip Fulfillment. I see you've got some good recommendations though! All the best!
hi @JR70
If you are shipping directly from a China factory to US customers and do not want to go for high shipping rates, you can consider the following:
For seamless integration with Shopify, use the Multi-Carrier Shipping Label app. It can integrate with both FedEx & Hong Kong Post, offering features like order tracking, email notifications, and route tracking on your Shopify storefront.
Hello @UjjawalS
Thanks for jumping into the discussion. Let me recap what I understand from your response main element and which is also my primary pain point.
1. "like many sellers in mainland China, transport goods to Hong Kong " -
a. Do you have any companies you'd suggest shipping from China to HK? I've reviewed a few and all i hear are delivery issues and lack of customer service resulting in lost sales for packages not arriving on time. I would add, I have reviewed a few ecommerce focused companies from the China mainland managing shipping directly to the US - YunExpress, 4PX, etc.
b. Once the package arrives in Hong Kong, do I need warehouse space for relabeling OR has this already been taken care of by the Chinese forwarder to HK? Or does it arrive to HK and directly to a Hong Kong Post, FedEx, or DHL processing facility that then knows to relabel it and ship it to a US or Final address?
c. Does PH MultiCarrier Shipping Label app have a list of Chinese couriers that integrate with the app?
learning on the go. Thanks again in advance.
