Accepting credit cards, warehouses, and shipping and fulfilling orders
Does anyone know how to fix the issue with the Create Bulk Shipping labels feature disappearing on the Shopify app?
Since they made the recent changes and “Upgrades” to the app, this option is no longer available. You can only print bill packing slips, bulk archive or bull fulfill without creating a shipping label.
I’ve tried talking to @Shopify customer and they had no solutions other than to stop using the Shopify App and use a web browser.
This feature is incredibly important and has been saving us hours and hours of work since they released it.
Experiencing the same here. Can somebody from Shopify tell us if this is just a bug that will be fixed in the next app update or if this was intentionally removed? If the latter, I think you guys are making a huge mistake. This completely breaks my fulfillment workflow.
How is this not solved yet? Experiencing the same issue, incredibly frustrating!
This may not be suitable for you as it's another solution, but you could try Starshipit. It's a shipping app which gives you more control over your shipping process (including how you print labels). For example, in Starshipit, you can bulk print, print via API and more. Let me know if you'd like to discuss more!
Having to pay $35/month just to get back a feature that the base Shopify app used to have and took away from us for no reason is infuriating.
Just FYI to people who care about this feature, it looks like you can create bulk shipping labels in the mobile app again, but it's a little hidden.
From the "Orders" tab in the app, go to "Orders to fulfill" then tap and hold to multiselect all the orders you want to create a shipping label for. Then at the bottom of the screen there should be two buttons: "Print packing slips" and "...". Tap "..." and one of the options should be "Create shipping labels".
For any Shopify employees reading this, I have no idea why you decided that "Print packing slips" should be the only top level button on this screen and why you think that hiding "Create shipping labels" under the ellipsis button would be a good idea. The old version that had the "Create shipping labels" button next to the "Print packing slips button" made way more sense. The main reason I'm on this "Orders to fulfill" page in the first place is to create shipping labels AND packing slips.
Also, on the "Create shipping labels" page itself, I think it's really confusing to hide the "Review # labels" option under the top right ellipsis button menu since that's the primary action I want to perform on this page, not some secondary thing that should be hidden. You should just put the "Review # labels" button at the top-level instead of hiding it under another drop down menu so that it's obvious at first glance what you're supposed to do on this page. Did a bunch of UI/UX people get laid off or something?
