Accepting credit cards, warehouses, and shipping and fulfilling orders
Hi,
I have recently started accepting Afterpay (instalment) payments on my store but was wanting to add a transaction fee for customers who use this service as it costs me an additional 6% fees to accept this payment method. I don't want to have to increase all my prices to allow for this so would prefer to add a set fee per Afterpay order... Is there a way to do this on Shopify checkout settings?
Hi @rennypen,
Nick here from Shopify.
I looked into this for you and spoke to our financial services team. This is definitely something which wouldn't be possible to do via the Shopify checkout settings. In my digging, I did also find an article which you can read here about what you're looking to do and how it relates to the EU. It might be worth you taking some time to research this a little further and make sure what you're looking to do is completely allowed.
Hope this helps and points you in the right direction!
All the best, Nick

Hey, trying to find a solution for this also. Has anyone had any luck with this?
Did anyone get a solution to this?
Im also interested in this! Im losing SO much money to these fees on my very small margins, but don't want to penalise my other customers by putting all my prices up.
