Accepting credit cards, warehouses, and shipping and fulfilling orders
Hi
I'm working on a store for a customer and it doesn't send confirmations to the customer, when an order is placed. Howeever the testmail under order confirmation is sent when push "send test". It also doesn't show the mail sent in the cronic under orders. I can't help my self.

I found the mistake. I'm using a headless channel with Smootify which was configured wrong. Thanks for the help

Sounds like Shopify isn't automatically triggering the order confirmation emails. First, check Settings > Notifications to ensure that "Order Confirmation" is enabled. If it’s turned on but still not working, verify that the customer email field is correctly filled at checkout. Sometimes missing or incorrect emails cause delivery issues.
Also, check Settings > Checkout to see if "Customers can check out using email" is enabled. If everything seems correct, try placing a real order with a test email to see if the issue persists. And if you’re using any third-party apps or custom code affecting order processing, temporarily disable them to rule out conflicts
