Accepting credit cards, warehouses, and shipping and fulfilling orders
Hello, I have had this issue since weeks where a customer would place an order then 1 min later he contacts me wanting to cancel it because it’s an “accident”. It’s annoying when you see shopify payout has planned a new payment with that money and now you have to refund it
I don't know if the chargeback is a fraud, but if it is, you can check out this guide here to prevent that: A Guide to Prevent Fraudulent Chargebacks with Shopify Payments [2FA] : r/shopify (reddit.com)
With regards to that customer, I don't know if it is possible to block them.
Can I for example add that refunds on accidental orders aren’t accepted in the checkout page and refund policy to avoid this problem?
You'll have to look into how Shopify wants their customer to be treated. If it says that you, as a merchant, is able to do that, then yes, you can definitely put that in your checkout page (if you're on Shopify Plus), cart page, cart sidebar, and in the refund policy.
