Delay in Shopify Payments verification is hurting my business

Hi,

 

I’m reaching out here out of frustration and urgency. I’ve been waiting for 5-6 days to get my Shopify Payments account verified after being asked to upload my bank statement. So far, I’ve had no real update, and the delay is starting to seriously affect my business.

 

I’m unable to accept payments, which means I’m losing customers and revenue. This kind of silence and lack of support is really disappointing from a platform like Shopify. I understand there are verification steps, but leaving a merchant without any clear guidance or timeline is unacceptable.

 

Can someone from Shopify please look into this and help resolve it? I need this fixed as soon as possible.

Which payment method do you linked to your shopify store?

Shopify payments, I have a Stripe account which would’ve worked, but Shopify won’t let me connect it…

Do you verified the Stripe account, before linking it to you store?

It is verified, there’s no option to connect stripe since Shopify payments work with stripe… so I have no other option except PayPal which I do not want to use but… it is really frustrating, a platform like Shopify to not be able to fix this… I may switch to another platform

I have not used anything, just Shopify Payments. I still have 5-6 days left where I can accept payments, but I cannot upload a bank statement to verify my account. I contacted support 3-4 times already and noting happened!

I had some problems with the document not being the right one, but I cannot upload any documents anymore. I have reached the limit and it says contact support, but they are not helping… so what’s the point of all this

To wait… I have been waiting an entire week, which is unacceptable for something like this
