Accepting credit cards, warehouses, and shipping and fulfilling orders
Hi, I have intergrated Onerway as a payment gateway for my store and activated it. However, when I test it out, I'm not able to checkout because it just says Payment Pending, and then later changes to Payment Expired without capturing the payment. I would to know why it takes so long to capture payments and then ultimately ends up failing, and if there are any solutions to this.

@Phefy Hey there, it seems to me like your best option in such a situation is just to reach out to their support team directly and get more information on it. If they are unresponsive or can’t really point out the issue, I think it would just be best to change your payment gateway provider.

It sounds like Onerway might be set up for delayed capture (where funds are authorized but not immediately collected), which could explain the wait, but the expiration suggests a hiccup in their system or your setup. Double-check your Onerway dashboard to ensure capture settings are configured for instant processing rather than a delay, and confirm your Shopify payment settings (Settings > Payments) match up.
Test with a small transaction and watch for error logs in Onerway. If it’s still failing, reach out to their support with your store details and transaction IDs to pinpoint if it’s a timeout or integration glitch
