Developer Possibly Needed (Prefer Freelancer): Checkout Issues

We have seen a significant uptick in checkout abandonments and there seems to be an issue that I can't pinpoint. We've watched user behavior in Google Analytics live and see this happen with so many users now - making it to various steps in checkout then dropping off.

However, when I test checkout everything seems to work (I've tried different browsers and devices). There don't seem to be noticeable patterns in payment processors either (as far as I can tell) but Q/A is needed.

We're on Shopify not Shopify Plus but I'm just trying to figure out if there could be a script issue or theme issue in play here (or maybe some tracking issues in GA). Shopify analytics have consistently been off lately as well (I've had 3 orders today and Shopify shows 1 session converted).

I have other small ongoing projects that could be a fit for the right dev.
