Accepting credit cards, warehouses, and shipping and fulfilling orders
We are a local business with our own delivery team, with same-day and next day delivery.
Some items are made to order and need at least 1 day to prepare.
Our team is working with a developer and they prefer to code rather than use Apps.
Currently our date picker is in the cart page, I am thinking what we need would be possible if the date picker was in our products page.
We are looking for a way to do this and I hope someone can enlighten us for this.
Hello @nd23123
I think a date picker on the product page is a possible option. When a customer picks a date and adds an item to a cart, the selected date can be passed as "properties" parameter in the cart item line. The custom code option can resolve this.
If you want to display the delivery date options on the checkout page, our app JsRates can help you implement that. With JsRates you have a full control and flexibility in defining delivery dates based on product or collection (or any other properties). If you are keen, we will give you a personalized guidance in setting up this on your checkout page, feel free to contact us on support@jsrates.com.
