Display Klarna Option on Product Pages

Guys,

today I've installed the Klarna app as advertised on my Shopify home page.

How do I display the Klarna option on my product pages ?

I dont have a merchant account with Klarna - as the app installed - ive tested it and it seems to work

any info appreciated

Steps to Display Klarna on Product Pages

1. Create a Merchant Account with Klarna:

   • If you haven’t already, you’ll need to sign up for a Klarna merchant account. This ensures that Klarna can connect to your Shopify store to process payments.
   • Visit Klarna’s Merchant Sign-up page to create an account and obtain credentials like your Klarna API keys.

2. Configure Klarna Messaging on Shopify:

   • After you’ve completed the Klarna setup, go to Apps in your Shopify admin and select the Klarna app.
   • Within the app settings, enable On-Site Messaging to display Klarna payment options on product pages. This will prompt Klarna to show options like “Pay in 4” or “Pay Later” to customers directly on your product pages.

3. Add Klarna Messaging Code to Product Pages (If Needed):

   • If the app doesn’t automatically display the Klarna messaging, you can add Klarna’s messaging code manually:

     • Go to Online Store > Themes > Actions > Edit Code.

     • In the Sections folder, open product-template.liquid or the file responsible for product pages.

     • Insert the following code where you want the Klarna message to appear (e.g., below the product price):

     • This code will place Klarna messaging on your product pages. Save and refresh your product page to verify that the Klarna options are displaying correctly.

   • Within the Klarna app, you can adjust the messaging style, position, and appearance to align with your store’s branding.

Important Note

Make sure to test Klarna on your store’s checkout after adding it to ensure the Klarna payment options display and function as expected.

On a product page there is no way to promote that klarna is available
