Display manual Payment method to select customers

Hi,

I would like to give certain customers the option to pay via invoice. I can setup a manual payment option, but I can't find any way to select who sees this option at checkout. 

In a dream scenario i could display a manual payment option only to a customer with a specific tag. I don't think there is anyway to limit the display of payment options though.

Does anyone know of a solution/work around here?

I want to up-vote this request. In our scenario, we allow our employees to charge purchases to an internal charge account. We would like to provide a manual payment method to employee customers notated via a customer tag.

so it is depend on Shopify launched API for this.

I'd love to test your new app on our development/test store. I tried to install it, but it requires a payment, which is not possible on a Shopify test shop. Can you add the ability to add your app to test stores so we can test it out on a non-production store?

Yes, it is possible to display manual payment methods only to selected customers with PayRules: Hide Payment Methods app. For instance, if you want only certain customers to pay via invoice, you can assign them specific tags. Then only the tagged customers will see the invoice option during checkout. Let's explore how you can do it:

1. Choose Invoice (if it's your payment method name) from the Additional payment methods field.
2. Choose Hide if not found under the Customer tags field.
3. Now enter your customer tag (VIP for example) under the Customer tags field like the screenshot below.

Now only the customer with the VIP tag will be able to see the Invoice option.
