Accepting credit cards, warehouses, and shipping and fulfilling orders
Hi Everyone,
Having major issues trying to contact any sort of DHL eCommerce support that doesn't transfer me, so I figured I would ask here.
We use DHL eCommerce for shipping and are planning to enable Shopify 3rd-party rate display. I was wondering if any of the rules that are enabled on DHL eCommerce would affect the shipping rates customers see or would we require a plug-in for this? Using the rules we are trying to turn orders into multiple shipping packages based on product quantity and ensure this is included in the rates customers see at checkout on our Shopify store. Does anyone know if this is possible natively to the DHL eCommerce/Shopify integration or would this have to be done with a third party app? If so suggestions would be appreciated!
Hi @ImaginAbleSol,
I did a quick research for you by checking Shopify Help Center as well as a few DHL eCommerce apps in the App Marketplace. As far as I see they all cover shipping labels functionality only without a possibility to display real-time rates from DHL eCommerce at Shopify checkout, which I suppose you are looking for. Therefore I would consider using a shipping rates apps, which have an integration with DHL eCommerce + Smart Packaging feature for dimensional shipping rates. Our Calcurates app have them both. If your DHL eCommerce rates are simple and presented in the spreadsheet, then you may emulate them with our Table Rates feature that also can work in a combination with Smart Packaging. We are happy to serve you with a free initial app setup.
