Hi there, @FittoLead!

Thank you for your post.

I found this guide on Printify's website which provides step-by-step instructions on how to enable the shipping calculator on your store. The guide also states that if you need assistance with setting it up, you can get in touch with Printify's Merchant Support team through their website.

Please let me know if there's anything else I can help with!

Hi Greta - Printify says I should "reach out" to Shopify to enable this option for me...then sign out of Printify, sign in again...

Hi, @jinge65!

Thanks for your comment. As mentioned in the Printify guide, in order to add the Printify shipping calculator, you need to have the carrier-calculated shipping feature on your store. To enable this, you can get in touch with us through the Help Center. Please note that the feature is only available on certain plans, and we can confirm the availability for you when you contact us.

Please let me know if you have any other questions!

Shopify has made the printify shipping calculator unattainable for startups and thereby throttling the potential of a new small businesses success.

We already pay 350$ a year to have access to the  basic plan (which you say is ideal for small business and start ups)  and you make it not possible to effectively have shipping calculated on apps like printify which is essential and a basic need.

By making the shipping calculator for printify only available to people who will pay for a 2,000$ a month plan you stifle and prevent people from potential success.  I urge this to change and be made avalable for ALL plans.

Hi @BuskersBrew

Thank you for your feedback on this. I definitely understand the value of having calculated shipping at the checkout for your store. I wanted to clarify the cost of enabling carrier calculated shipping though, as it is not restricted to the Shopify Plus ($2000 USD/month) plan.

To activate the third-party carrier-calculated shipping, (CCS) your store needs to be on the Shopify, Advanced, or Plus plan. If you're on the Shopify plan, then you can add this feature for a monthly fee or switch from monthly to yearly billing.

To simplify, any plan above the Shopify Basic plan is eligible for CCS. You can review pricing and plan options in your country here: Shopify Pricing.

For merchants who are using a third party dropshipping service, I recommend introducing a flat shipping fee or include the cost of shipping in your product prices. This can also make for a better customer experience as there is no possible sticker shock at checkout once the shipping costs are added to the total.

I got this same message from customer support directly.

Ok, so I understand it is not just the 2,000$ a month plan, you also enable it for 399$ a month for medium sized businesses, but the small business and startups, the ones probably who need things like printify and other POD apps the most, most definitely lose out unfortunately.

There are only three tiers of plan that are offered Basic, Plus and advanced, I do not see the shopify plan that you and others have mentioned in customer support.

Thanks for the clarification that it is for anything above a small business plan and (your most popular plan)

Hi @BuskersBrew

If you follow the link I shared to our pricing page you should see 3 plan options, Basic, Shopify and Advanced. This is what I see, the prices are in CAD so may be different from your own pricing:

I really appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback on this topic, it is important for our developers to hear from our merchants what features are important to them.

I could really use some help from my Shopify fam! Now with no phone support from Shopify this has become a very difficult and confusing fix. I am so confused about my non printify products that I ship from my home. Printify says to delete my general shipping rates for my Shopify Store and add Printify rates, but where does this leave my products I ship out from my location? So confusing. Please help.

Hi! Printify's guide on setting up the Printify Shipping Calculator includes a workaround that allows you to use both their rates as well as any flat rates you have for your own inventory.

As noted in the guide, you'll just need to make sure that your own inventory is in a separate shipping profile than the Printify products. The guides I've linked in this post will walk you though the setup, but please feel free to follow up here if you have any questions along the way.
