Error message after entering payment informations

Hi,

I launched my Shopify website a few days ago. Everything was okay and I had a few sales. 

But for 3-4 days now, nothing.
And I do have customers who send me messages saying that they can't pay.
So I tried the payment page and got the following error message: Your payment could not be processed at this time, please try again in a few minutes
(see screenshot)

Do you know where this could be coming from?

Don here from Shopify.

Thanks for letting us know about the error you encountered when trying to take payments in your store.

Would you mind confirming which payment gateway is in use in your store and where your store is based for me?

The next thing I'd check out is to see if there are any notifications in your Shopify admin or if you have gotten any emails from your payment gateway provider about this.

Finally, for now, if you have a look in the Orders > Abandoned checkouts menu in your admin you might see some entries where customers have attempted to make a payment but were unable to complete their order.

If you can check in there and click in to view any abandoned checkouts, there may be more info there on why the order did not complete that we can see.
