I am seeing that a customer's credit card authorization "Expired" after we already shipped their order. The only option is to email the customer an invoice asking them to pay. There's no way a customer is going to follow through on this. We use Shopify payments. Support is impossible to reach

Just to gather some additional context, did the customer complete the checkout process before you shipped the order? I am just trying to get a better understanding of the situation so I can assist you accordingly.
