Facing checkout issues due to unavailable shipping?

"shipping not available your order cannot be shipped to the selected address. Enter a different address'
 
Currently when customers try to checkout they see the message above, but if you refresh the screen the shipping appears. I reached out to Shopify and they said their team is working on resolving this issue as im not the only merchant. 
 
This was 5hrs ago. Massively effecting my business right now. I have made no changes, and have an updated theme. Has anyone had any progress resolving this? Iv been waiting patiently but nothing has changed. 
 
This was the transcript from my chat with shopify: 

(Support Advisor): Our Developers are currently working to resolve this issue.
I'll go ahead and keep our ticket open and I will send you an email once there is an update.


Please keep an eye on your email, as I will let you know if there is anything else we need you to do on your end, or once the issue has been fixed.

 

Me: So to confirm this is a shopify technical issue?

(Support Advisor): Yes it is. Our Developers are currently working to resolve this issue. Rest assured they are on it as we speak.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Quite a concern these things can happen that are so out of our control.

I understand that the current situation is concerning for your business. It seems that the issue you are experiencing is a technical issue on Shopify's end and their support team has acknowledged it and is working on resolving it. Unfortunately, there may not be much that you can do at this point but to wait for an update from Shopify's team. It's frustrating when things like this happen, but it's important to remember that technical issues can happen with any platform. Hopefully, Shopify's team can resolve the issue quickly and minimize any further impact on your business.

We've been experiencing the same BS since April 24th.   I'm really happy you got somewhere.

Unfortunately i have not got anywhere. Still waiting on a resolve. My business has more or less come to a stand still until they resolve this.
